Do Not Worry about your Life - Matthew 6:25
WHAT!?!? What do you mean don’t worry? How am I not supposed to worry? Where is the money coming from to go back to school? Am I really going to quit my job? Does that dress make me look ugly? Should I really eat that cookie? Don’t worry. You’ve got to be kidding, right? I worry about not worrying.
"Our Lord pointed out that from His standpoint it is absolutely unreasonable for us to be anxious, worrying about how we will live." And it is! Everything else should come 2nd to my relationship with God and I should trust that God got's this! It’s a struggle. I can feel the difference in my life when I’m more in harmony with God, having an ongoing conversation with Him and really trusting that He is in control of everything and when I’m not.
So I'll concentrate on trusting God and worrying less.
